Short answerIndian citizens can get a visa on arrival in Rwanda. Up to 30 days per visit.

How long you can stay
Up to 30 days per visit.
What you need
  • Passport valid for at least 6 months
  • Visa on arrival fee (up to USD 50 for a single-entry visa)
  • Return/onward travel ticket
  • Can alternatively be applied for in advance via the Irembo government portal or a Rwandan diplomatic mission
Good to know
Rwanda grants visa on arrival to citizens of all nationalities that are not already visa-exempt. India is not on Rwanda's visa-free country list (which covers AU/Commonwealth/La Francophonie members, EAC members, and a short list of specific countries), so Indian nationals use the general visa-on-arrival route.
