Short answerIndian citizens need a visa to visit Colombia. Your visa sets how long you can stay.

How long you can stay
Your visa sets how long you can stay.
What you need
  • Valid passport
  • Colombian visitor (V) visa — OR a valid US/Schengen residence permit, or a US/Schengen visa valid at least 180 more days on arrival
Good to know
Visa required by default (Res. 5488 de 2022 Art. 7: apply to Cancillería for a Visitor 'V' visa before travel; stay set by the visa). Conditional exemption: 'India' is in Art. 3 literal C ('exención condicionada de visa para actividades de corta estancia'): nationals may be admitted without a Colombian visa for short, unpaid stays if they hold a valid residence permit of a Schengen state or the United States, or a Schengen or US visa 'con una vigencia mínima de ciento ochenta (180) días al momento de ingreso al territorio nacional' (mirrored in Res. 3167 de 2019 Art. 67, Migración Colombia). Holders of a permit or permanent residence in a Pacific Alliance state (Chile, Mexico, Peru) may also be admitted without a visa (Res. 3167/2019 Art. 66). If admitted visa-free, the general PIP rules apply: up to 90 days per entry, extendable, max 180 days per calendar year. Note: India is also on the airport-transit visa list (Res. 5488 Art. 8).
