Nigeria entry requirements for Indian citizens

Short answerIndian citizens need a visa to visit Nigeria. Up to 30 days per visit.

How long you can stay
Up to 30 days per visit.
What you need
  • Valid passport with at least 6 months validity
  • Passport-sized photograph
  • Proof of return ticket
  • Hotel reservation or host address in Nigeria
  • Bank statement (last 180 days) showing sufficient funds
  • Tourism Visa (F5A) application submitted online (e-Visa) or through a Nigerian Embassy/Consulate
Good to know
Nigeria's F5A Tourism visa is single-entry, valid for 90 days from issuance (the window in which the holder must enter), and permits a stay of up to 30 days; it is not extendable and does not permit employment. Indian nationals apply via Nigeria's e-Visa portal or an embassy/consulate in advance - Nigeria does not offer visa-free entry or visa-on-arrival to ordinary Indian tourist-passport holders (this matches the site's existing treatment of other non-ECOWAS nationalities for Nigeria).
