Good to know
Indian ordinary-passport holders need a tourist visa from an Argentine consulate (DNM Régimen de Visas: 'REQUIERE VISA'). Exception — Resolución 353/2025 (Boletín Oficial 27/08/2025), art. 1: entry without a consular visa or AVE with a valid US visa of a similar category, verified with the authorities, as a tourist, 'con un plazo de hasta NOVENTA (90) días de permanencia'; art. 2: no change of category; stay may be extended once for a similar period after DNM evaluation. Since 15 January 2026 a valid US Green Card also qualifies (DNM table 'Green CARD (EEUU): HABILITADO'; Argentine Consulate in Sydney). Otherwise: consular tourist visa (Cancillería: stay up to 90 days, fee USD 150, passport valid ≥6 months, 2 photos, FSV form, proof of funds, return ticket booking, hotel booking, interview). Decreto 366/2025 health-insurance declaration not yet enforceable (art. 123 bis). Resolution text and the DNM visa table re-read 2026-10-19.
