Short answerIndian citizens need a visa to visit Mexico. Your visa sets how long you can stay.

How long you can stay
Your visa sets how long you can stay.
What you need
  • A Mexican visitor visa from a Mexican consulate, or one of INM's alternatives: a valid visa from Canada, the US, Japan, the UK or a Schengen country, or permanent residence there or in Chile, Colombia or Peru
  • Valid passport
Good to know
India is on INM's list of countries whose nationals need a visa to visit Mexico; for tourism or business, apply at a Mexican consulate for a visitor visa without permission for paid activities. INM accepts instead: a valid visa from Canada, the United States, Japan, the United Kingdom or a Schengen country; permanent residence in one of those or in Chile, Colombia or Peru; or an APEC Business Travel Card approved by Mexico (air, business only). The stay can't exceed 180 days.
