Nigeria entry requirements for South Korean citizens

Short answerSouth Korean citizens need a visa to visit Nigeria. Up to 30 days per visit.

How long you can stay
Up to 30 days per visit.
What you need
  • Approved Nigeria e-Visa (Tourism Visa – F5A) obtained online before travel, or an embassy-issued Short Visit Visa
  • Passport valid for at least 6 months from date of travel, with blank pages
  • Passport-size photo
  • Evidence of return/onward ticket
  • Evidence of hotel reservation or host address in Nigeria
  • Evidence of sufficient funds (180-day bank statement)
Good to know
Nigeria discontinued Visa on Arrival for eligible travellers effective 1 May 2025, replacing it with a mandatory online e-Visa system administered by the Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS); only ECOWAS member-state nationals and a small number of countries with a separate visa-abolition/waiver agreement (e.g. Cameroon, Chad) are visa-exempt — no primary source found placing any of the 15-nationality roster in that exempt group. The Tourism Visa (F5A) is single-entry, valid for 90 days from issuance (you must enter Nigeria within that window), and grants a 30-day stay that cannot be extended — plan any longer trip around this hard limit; no employment is permitted. Applicants must also complete a digital Landing Card online before boarding (lecard.immigration.gov.ng). Visa fees vary by nationality and visa category and were not independently verified in this pass — confirm the current fee on the official e-Visa portal (evisa.immigration.gov.ng) before applying.

The rule: Passport valid for at least 6 months from date of travel, with blank pages
