Australia entry requirements for South Korean citizens

Short answerSouth Korean citizens need an electronic travel authorisation (ETA) before travelling to Australia. Up to 90 days per visit.
- How long you can stay
- Up to 90 days per visit.
- What you need
- Valid passport (eligible for ETA)
- Australian ETA smartphone app (iOS or Android) used to apply
- Good to know
- Electronic Travel Authority (subclass 601). The passport must be on the list in the Migration (IMMI 18/084: Specification of ETA-Eligible Passports) Instrument 2018. Home Affairs states the permitted stay as “up to 3 months at a time” (not a numeric day count) — maxDays: 90 is published here as the standard day-equivalent of that 3-month wording, not a figure stated verbatim as “90 days” by Home Affairs; see data/UNVERIFIED/TODO.md for this calendar-month-vs-fixed-day nuance. AUD20 service charge applies via the Australian ETA app.
