Short answerSingaporean citizens can get a visa on arrival in Rwanda. Up to 90 days per visit.

How long you can stay
Up to 90 days per visit.
What you need
  • Passport or other genuine travel document valid for at least 6 months
  • Passport-style photo (required if applying in advance via the Irembo government portal)
Good to know
Singapore is explicitly named on Rwanda's list of nationalities granted a 90-day visa free of charge upon arrival (DGIE 'Visa on arrival' policy page: "The following countries to be granted 90 days valid visa free of charge upon arrival: Angola, Benin, Central African Republic, Chad, Cote d'Ivoire, Democratic Republic of Congo, The Federation of Saint Christopher and Nevis, Ghana, Guinea, Indonesia, Haiti, Mauritius, Philippines, Senegal, Seychelles, Sierra Leone, Sao Tome and Principe, Singapore and the state Qatar"). Singapore is also a Commonwealth member, which would separately qualify it for the general 30-day fee-waived VE-1 category — the same DGIE page states both provisions without saying which controls if they conflict. This row uses the more specific, by-name 90-day provision as the published figure; travelers should confirm directly with DGIE (visa@migration.gov.rw) if in doubt.

Is your passport valid long enough?

The rule: Passport or other genuine travel document valid for at least 6 months

These dates stay in your browser. They aren't saved or sent anywhere. Six months from arrival, or after you leave? How the rules compare
