How long you can stay
Up to 30 days per visit.
What you need
  • Valid ordinary Singapore passport
  • Proof of onward/return travel (may be requested by airline or border control)

Good to know
Singapore is NOT on China's unilateral 30-day visa-free list (confirmed directly on the Chinese Embassy in Singapore's own FAQ page, which states Singapore passport holders do not qualify for that particular policy). Instead, Singapore and China have a separate bilateral Mutual 30-Day Visa-Exemption Arrangement in force since 9 February 2024, covering ordinary passports for tourism, business and family visits, on materially the same 30-day, stay-counted-from-day-after-entry terms. Work, study, and journalism are excluded.
