Short answerIsraeli citizens need a visa to visit China. Your visa sets how long you can stay.

How long you can stay
Your visa sets how long you can stay.
What you need
  • Passport valid 6+ months with blank visa pages
  • Recent color photo (bareheaded, full-face, white background)
  • Round-trip air ticket booking and hotel reservation, or an invitation letter from a Chinese entity/individual
  • Online China Visa Application (COVA) submission followed by in-person passport lodging at the Embassy
Good to know
Israeli ordinary-passport holders are not on China's unilateral visa-free list and must obtain an L (tourist) visa. Applications must be lodged in person at the Embassy in Tel Aviv (no postal applications); regular processing is 4 working days. Israeli citizens are visa-exempt for Hong Kong/Macao (up to 90 days) but that exemption does not extend to mainland China.
