Good to know
Malaysia is a current member of the Commonwealth of Nations (confirmed against thecommonwealth.org's official member-country list), which qualifies Malaysian nationals for Rwanda's VE-1 visa-waiver arrangement — available to citizens of African Union, Commonwealth, and La Francophonie member states (DGIE 'Visa on arrival' policy page and Visitors visa VE-1 terms): visa issued at the entry point or embassy free of charge, single entry, valid 30 days. Malaysian nationals also have the option of the standard paid V1 Holiday visa (USD 70, multiple entry, valid 90 days) via Irembo, embassy, or on arrival, if a longer or multi-entry stay is needed.
