Short answerMalaysian citizens can visit Cambodia without a visa. Up to 30 days per visit.

How long you can stay
Up to 30 days per visit.
What you need
  • Passport (ordinary/'normal')
  • Cambodia e-Arrival card (free, submitted online within 7 days before arrival)
Good to know
Malaysia ordinary ('Normal') passport holders are visa-exempt for 30 days under Cambodia's Ministry of Foreign Affairs visa-exemption list (as of 28 Feb 2025; ASEAN countries section: Malaysia — Normal: 30 days). The official e-Visa site also lists Malaysia under 'Visa Exemption' for the tourist visa. The exemption list does not state an extension route; for a longer stay you would need a visa. Cambodia e-Arrival (CeA) card: the official e-Arrival site (arrival.gov.kh, General Department of Immigration) says 'All travelers are required to fill in the Cambodia e-Arrival even if they have been granted VISA' and that it can be submitted 'within 7 days prior to your arrival'; submission is free. It also replaces the paper customs and health declarations. (The GDI homepage wording is 'within 7 days before or on arrival'.) Arriving visitors receive a 'v-Pass' by email instead of an ink entry stamp.
