Up to 30 days per visit.
What you need

Good to know
Japan MOFA basic safety data for Cambodia (updated 25 Mar 2025): a visa is required to enter Cambodia ('カンボジアに入国するためには査証が必要です'); it can be obtained on arrival at Phnom Penh and other main airports and at land borders with neighbouring countries (アライバルビザ), or online as an e-Visa (tourist T or business E) at evisa.gov.kh — MOFA warns about agency sites that overcharge. Tourist visa (T): '最長30日' (up to 30 days), no work. Passport needs 6+ months remaining validity. Overstay: USD 10 per day fine, payment is a condition of departure. Extensions: apply at the General Department of Immigration in Phnom Penh (opposite the airport), but 'e-visaは更新できません' (an e-Visa cannot be renewed). Arrival, customs and quarantine procedures must be submitted online via arrival.gov.kh or the CeA app from 7 days before arrival. Alternative to the visa on arrival: the official Cambodia e-Visa (evisa.gov.kh, Ministry of Foreign Affairs) Visa T (tourist) costs USD 30, single entry, valid 3 months from issue (that is the window to enter, not the stay), length of stay 1 month, processed in 3 business days; requires passport valid more than six months at entry, a digital photo and a Visa/MasterCard. e-Visa is accepted only at Techo International (Phnom Penh), Siem Reap Angkor and Sihanoukville airports and the Bavet and Trapeang Kriel land borders; Cham Yeam and Poipet are listed as temporarily closed to e-Visa entry. Beware of unofficial lookalike e-visa websites.
