Short answerChinese citizens need a visa to visit Egypt. Your visa sets how long you can stay.

How long you can stay
Your visa sets how long you can stay.
What you need
  • Passport valid for at least 6 months from arrival date
  • Printed copy of the approved e-Visa
  • Travel itinerary
  • Hotel booking / accommodation details
  • Supporting invitation letter (for business or family visits, where applicable)
Good to know
Egypt's official e-Visa portal explicitly lists China among eligible nationalities for its Tourism e-Visa (single entry $30, multiple entry $65). The FAQ page did not state the permitted stay length or visa validity window, so no maxDays figure is asserted. The portal also notes Egyptian port authorities retain the right to refuse entry to any e-visa holder without explanation.
