Good to know
China's own Ministry of Foreign Affairs consular page confirms a bilateral mutual visa-exemption agreement (signed 16 Jan 2023, in force since 18 Mar 2023): Chinese citizens holding an ordinary passport may enter Albania for tourism, business, family visits, medical treatment, or scientific/cultural/sporting/trade activities without a visa, for up to 90 days within any 180-day period. (Diplomatic and official-duty passport holders are covered by a separate, broader exemption.) Corrected 2026-10-05 from a flat 90 days per entry to 90 days within 180: Albania's Law No. 79/2021 "On Foreigners" (Art. 29(2), as amended 2025) gives visa-exempt foreigners 90 days within 180 days from entry, unless a bilateral agreement or Council of Ministers decision provides otherwise; after using 90 days you may re-enter once the 180-day period has passed (Art. 29(3)). Register with the local border and migration authority within 10 days of entry as a rule (Art. 29(5)).
