Good to know
UK gov.uk travel advice: "You can visit Albania without a visa for up to 90 days in a 180-day period, for tourism or business." This is the standard rate most nationalities get — unlike the US's separate one-year bilateral arrangement. Corrected 2026-10-05 from a flat 90 days per entry to 90 days within 180: Albania's Law No. 79/2021 "On Foreigners" (Art. 29(2), as amended 2025) gives visa-exempt foreigners 90 days within 180 days from entry, unless a bilateral agreement or Council of Ministers decision provides otherwise; after using 90 days you may re-enter once the 180-day period has passed (Art. 29(3)). Register with the local border and migration authority within 10 days of entry as a rule (Art. 29(5)).
