- Evidence of onward/return travel (may be requested by airline or border staff)

- United Kingdom is on the visa waiver list, and UK citizens (and other British passport holders with the right to reside permanently in the UK) get a longer standard stay of 'up to 6 months' per Immigration New Zealand, versus 3 months for most other visa-waiver nationalities. NZeTA required before travel (from NZD $17, per Immigration New Zealand) plus the International Visitor Conservation and Tourism Levy (IVL) of NZD $100, paid together when you request the NZeTA. NZeTA valid 2 years. Overall cap of 6 months in any 12-month period still applies.
