Good to know
As of 2 January 2026, holders of ordinary passports issued by the People's Republic of China are exempt from Turkish visa requirements for tourism purposes, for stays of up to 90 days within any 180-day period. Chinese official-passport holders remain visa-exempt for stays of up to 30 days. No e-Visa is required for ordinary-passport holders under this exemption. This is a very recent policy change (effective the same month verification was performed); re-confirm before publishing in case of further amendment.
