Embassy of Malaysia in Mexico City (MFA Malaysia): "Mexican passport holders do not require visa to enter Malaysia as tourists or for business purposes within a 30 day stay." Staying beyond 30 days requires a visa (tourism visa without reference: 2 months from entry, issued by the Malaysian mission in Mexico; extendable by 2 months). Malaysia's Immigration Department visa-requirement list does not include Mexico among countries needing a visa.
