Good to know
Brazil's current QGRV (26 Aug 2026) lists Mexico as code 4: visa exemption for up to 90 days, no 90/180 marker (https://www.gov.br/mre/pt-br/assuntos/portal-consular/vistos/qgrv-simples-port-26ago26.pdf). Documents per the Brazilian embassy page cited. Counting: Brazil's Decreto 9.199/2017 (art. 20 §1, applicable to visa-exempt visitors under art. 23) counts a visitor's stay from the first entry and pauses it while you are outside Brazil, so days add up across visits within a 12-month 'migratory year' starting at your first entry; the Federal Police may extend the stay by up to 90 days, to a maximum of 180 days per migratory year (https://www.planalto.gov.br/ccivil_03/_ato2015-2018/2017/decreto/d9199.htm). We show the stricter limit of 90 days in any 365 so a plan that fits here also fits the rule — check with the Federal Police if you need longer.
