Short answerSpanish citizens can visit Jamaica without a visa. Up to 90 days per visit.

How long you can stay
Up to 90 days per visit.
What you need
  • Valid passport — the Embassy of Jamaica in Washington says it should have at least six months' validity (UK, Canadian, French and Spanish government advice say valid for the duration of the stay; the six-month figure is the stricter one)
  • Return or round-trip ticket to a country you are admissible to
  • Evidence of sufficient funds to support yourself during the stay
  • Completed Immigration/Customs C5 form (online at enterjamaica.gov.jm, run by PICA and Jamaica Customs, or on paper on arrival)
Good to know
Visa-free for up to 90 days per entry. CONFLICT between two PICA publications: the PICA Visa Unit country listing (13 March 2025, and the 2023 edition) shows 'SPAIN (pta)': 'NONE – 90 days Effective July 26, 2018 for tourism/cultural exchanges/business', but PICA's older web table (last updated July 19, 2023) still says 'NO visa required for 30 days'. The newer listing, with its specific effective date, is used, and it is corroborated by Spain's Embassy in Kingston (exteriores.gob.es, updated 8 June 2026): Spaniards need no visa 'para estancias turísticas, culturales o de reuniones de negocios por una duración igual o inferior a 90 días. En ningún caso, se podrán superar los 180 días al año natural, independientemente del número de entradas, cada una de las cuales no podrá superar los 90 días.' So: max 90 days per entry AND max 180 days per calendar year (1 Jan–31 Dec, not rolling) across all entries — modelled here as the per-entry 90-day limit, which is the binding limit on any single trip; also track the 180-days-per-calendar-year cap if you make several trips. The Spanish embassy adds that officers often grant less than 90 days on arrival ('habitualmente, suele ser de un mes'). Common to all visitors (Embassy of Jamaica, Washington, 'Requirements for entry into Jamaica', embwashington.mfaft.gov.jm/visitor_to_jamaica): national passport with 'at least six months' validity', a return or round-trip ticket, and 'evidence of sufficient funds'; 'the decision in respect of admission and length of stay in the country rests with the Immigration Officer' at the port of entry, so the date stamped in your passport is what counts. Every passenger completes the Immigration/Customs C5 card (PICA, 'Travel Documents Required': complete and sign the C5 online or on paper; the official online form is enterjamaica.gov.jm). Extension (PICA, 'Extension of Stay', pica.gov.jm/immigration/extension-of-stays): apply to PICA before your landing time expires; 'Commonwealth citizens are allowed a maximum of 12 months stay on the island' and 'Non-Commonwealth citizens are allowed a maximum of 6 months stay on the island as a visitor'; processed within three working days. PICA fee schedule (pica.gov.jm/immigration/fees, no effective date shown): extension of stay processing fee JM$10,000, and JM$50,000 for persons who wish to extend their stay beyond the visa-exemption period. Source dates: the March 2025 PICA PDF is the newest official country list found; PICA's own web table (pica.gov.jm/immigration/entry-visa-requirements) still says 'Last updated July 19, 2023'.

Is your passport valid long enough?

The rule: Valid passport — the Embassy of Jamaica in Washington says it should have at least six months' validity (UK, Canadian, French and Spanish government advice say valid for the duration of the stay; the six-month figure is the stricter one)
