Can you bring fresh fruit or produce to Singapore?

Short answer
Allowed, within limits

  • Fresh produce

    allowed, within limits

Fruit and vegetables are allowed from any country in a small, reasonable hand-carry quantity for personal consumption, within the general 5kg/5L/S$100 non-commercial food allowance.

Importing at commercial scale without the required approvals carries a fine of up to S$10,000 and/or 3 years' imprisonment, per an Immigration & Checkpoints Authority enforcement release — that penalty applies to commercial-scale evasion, not an ordinary traveler's hand-carried snack.

Also covers: fruit, vegetables, plants, seeds
