Can you bring alcohol to Singapore?

Short answer
Allowed, within limits

  • Alcohol

    allowed, within limits

Duty-free liquor concession applies only if you are 18+, have spent 48 hours or more outside Singapore immediately before arrival, and are not arriving from Malaysia. Pick one combination totalling the concession.

All liquor of 0.5% ABV or more must be declared. Travellers under 18, those who don't meet the 48-hour/non-Malaysia conditions, or amounts beyond the concession must use the Red Channel and pay duty plus GST on the full quantity carried (not just the excess).

Also covers: alcohol, wine, spirits, liquor, beer
