Short answerUS citizens can visit the United Arab Emirates without a visa. The official source doesn't state a fixed stay length. Check it before you travel.

What you need
  • Passport valid for at least 6 months
  • Return or onward travel ticket
  • Valid health insurance
Good to know
UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs lists US passport holders as "Visa Free" (checked 2026-10-05). The permitted stay could not be confirmed on a primary source in this pass: the UAE's own portals (u.ae, ICP, GDRFA) were unreachable or no longer list it, and US government travel advice was unreachable or gives no stay length. Every nationality where a government source states it (UK, Canada, Singapore, and the EU states) gets 90 days within a 180-day period from first entry, so don't assume a fresh 90 days per visit. (Corrected 2026-10-05: previously a fresh 90 days per entry, which no source supports.)
