- Passport valid for at least six months beyond your planned arrival date, with at least one blank page
- Selfie or passport-type photo
- Accommodation booking confirmation and arrival/departure itinerary

- Germany is not on either of Kenya's eTA-exemption lists (the 90-day and 60-day national lists under the Kenya Citizenship and Immigration (Amendment) Rules, 2025, as reproduced on etakenya.go.ke's How to Apply page, checked 2026-10-02), so German nationals need an approved eTA before travel. The eTA is valid for travel within 90 days of issuance; "once you arrive, the duration of your stay is determined at the point of entry" — no fixed number of days is guaranteed, so none is shown. The Standard (single-entry) eTA is listed at USD 30 on the official eligibility page; a One Year Multi-Entry eTA is listed at USD 300.
