Short answerUkrainian citizens need a visa to visit Japan. Your visa sets how long you can stay.

What you need
  • A visa issued by a Japanese embassy or consulate before travel
Good to know
Ukraine is not on Japan's reciprocal visa-exemption list, so ordinary passport holders need a visa for short-term stays. Japan has introduced relaxed multiple-entry visa provisions for some categories of Ukrainian nationals (e.g. business partners in Japan–Ukraine cooperation projects, relatives of evacuees residing in Japan), but a visa is still required.
