Can you bring e-cigarettes or vapes to Maldives?

Short answer
Prohibited

  • E-cigarettes

    prohibited

Airport operator's customs page: "Since 15 November 2024, the Maldives has banned the import of all vaping devices — both disposable and reusable — e-cigarettes, and related accessories. Devices and accessories are confiscated at customs. A receipt is issued and items can be collected on departure." Vaporizers appear on its list of retrievable items given a receipt. Press reports say the ban was extended on 15 December 2024 to possession and use inside the country; that extension was not confirmed on an official page in this pass.
