Short answerArgentine citizens can visit Ireland without a visa. Up to 90 days per visit.

How long you can stay
Up to 90 days per visit.
What you need
  • Valid passport
  • Boarding card
  • Useful at the border if asked: travel itinerary, proof of sufficient funds, health/travel insurance covering your stay, accommodation details, and any invitation or letter explaining the purpose of your visit
Good to know
Argentine nationals are on Ireland's non-visa-required list (official INIS table), so no visa or pre-clearance is needed to visit. Ireland has no ETA-style pre-travel authorisation. On arrival by air or sea from outside the State you must present to an Immigration Officer, who decides how long you may stay — INIS: "up to a maximum of 3 months" — and stamps your passport; the officer can still refuse entry if not satisfied by your documents or explanations. Staying beyond 90 days requires applying to Immigration Service Delivery for permission. Ireland is not in Schengen: days here do not count toward the 90/180-day Schengen limit, and a Schengen visa or stay does not entitle you to enter Ireland. If you arrive via Northern Ireland you must still report to an Immigration Officer within 30 days (7 days if for business or employment).
