- Animal product allowancesallowed, within limitsFrom outside the EU: fish up to 20 kg, honey up to 2 kg, and infant or medical food up to 2 kg.
- CannabisprohibitedCyprus Customs lists narcotic drugs, psychotropic substances and other controlled pharmaceuticals among goods whose importation is prohibited.
- Cashallowed, declaration may be requiredDeclare €10,000 or more in cash or gold in writing. Undeclared amounts are seized, with fines up to €50,000.
- CBDprohibitedBanned: Cyprus Customs lists cannabis derivatives, including oils and foods, as prohibited imports.
- Controlled medicationdepends on specificsControlled medicines need a permit from Cyprus's Pharmaceutical Services; without one, customs treats them as prohibited.
- Dronesdepends on specificsDrones over 250 g, or with a camera, need operator registration with Cyprus's Civil Aviation Department; visitors also need an A1/A3 certificate.
- Fresh producedepends on specificsPlants, fruit, vegetables and cut flowers from outside the EU may not be brought in your luggage unless accompanied by a phytosanitary certificate.
- Meat & dairyprohibitedYou cannot bring meat, milk or their products (including cheese) into Cyprus from outside the EU in your luggage.
- Tobaccoallowed, within limitsDuty-free from outside the EU: 200 cigarettes, or 100 cigarillos (max. 3 g each), or 50 cigars, or 250 g of smoking tobacco.
