Can you bring a weapon to Serbia?

Short answer
Depends on specifics

  • Weapons

    depends on specifics

Quoted directly from Customs: "Passengers are not allowed to carry weapons across the border unless they possess the permit issued by a competent authority" (the Ministry of Domestic and Foreign Trade). An exception exists for hunting weapons and ammunition, which may be brought in temporarily "in appropriate quantities" specifically for organized hunting tours or shooting-sport events.

Ordinary tourists have no general route to bring a firearm without a permit obtained in advance. The hunting/shooting-sport exception is narrow — it applies to participation in an organized event, not general recreational carrying. Blades/knives aren't separately addressed in this source.

Also covers: weapons, firearms, guns, ammunition, knife
