Can you bring tobacco or cigarettes to Serbia?

Short answer
Depends on specifics

  • Tobacco

    depends on specifics

Quoted directly from Customs: "50 cigarettes, 25 cigarillos (cigars up to 3g), 10 cigars, 50g of tobacco or suitable combination of all mentioned products." This covers cut tobacco, pipe tobacco, hookah tobacco, chewing tobacco, snuff, and heated (non-burning) tobacco products. Oral tobacco (snus) is explicitly excluded: "tobacco for oral use (snus) whose import and distribution in the Republic of Serbia is prohibited."

Marked "depends" because the allowance covers most tobacco forms but snus specifically is prohibited outright, not just capped. Above the allowance, duty/VAT applies (10% flat rate under EUR 3,000 total dutiable value; regular procedure above that).

Also covers: tobacco, cigarettes, cigars, cigarillos, rolling tobacco, smokeless tobacco, snus, heated tobacco
