Can you bring tobacco or cigarettes to Jamaica?

Short answer
Allowed, within limits

  • Tobacco

    allowed, within limits

Travellers aged 18+ may bring 200 cigarettes, or 50 cigars, or 230 g of processed tobacco duty-free.

JCA FAQ: all passengers 18 years and over may bring without duty 'Tobacco (sticks) …….200 cigarettes,50 cigars or 230 grams of processed tobacco', provided the items are properly declared and within the amount. The C5 card gives the same: '200 sticks of cigarettes or 50 sticks of cigars or 230g of Tobacco'. The allowance is one of the three, not all three. E-cigarettes are not covered by this allowance (see the unverified e-cigarette entry).

Also covers: tobacco, cigarettes, cigars, rolling tobacco, pipe tobacco, cigarillos
