Embassy of Jamaica, Brussels (Ministry of Health and Wellness guidance): 'A special permit will be required from the Ministry of Health and Wellness for prescription containing narcotics.' Apply to the Chief Dangerous Drugs Inspector, Pharmaceutical and Regulatory Affairs Division, Ministry of Health and Wellness, 45-47 Barbados Avenue, Kingston 5 (tel. Send: a physician's letter with the patient's name and condition; a copy of the prescription with name, strength and quantity for the whole stay; flight details (dates/times, flight numbers, ports of entry and departure); your address in Jamaica; your contact details; and the physician's phone number. 'Once approval is granted, the Ministry of Health will directly send the applicant the special permit … This document must be carried with the patient when traveling to Jamaica.' No processing time is stated, so apply early. The source says 'narcotics' and names no specific drugs; it does not say whether non-narcotic controlled psychotropics (e.g. ADHD stimulants, benzodiazepines) need the same permit — ask the Pharmaceutical and Regulatory Affairs Division before travelling with any controlled medicine.
