Can you bring a drone to Israel?

  Importing a drone needs approval from the competent authorities (Ministry of Communications, and Ministry of Transportation / Israel Airports Authority). Tourists must also leave a guarantee equal to the applicable taxes, refunded when they take the drone out of Israel.

An import approval can be obtained before or after the item arrives, but the item is only released after it is presented. An import licence must be obtained before arrival, and failing to do so is an offence that may bring a fine. 'Taxes and Guarantees' chapter: 'If you have brought with you one of the following items: a new personal computer, a UAV (drone), electric bicycle or similar items, you will be required to deposit a guarantee in the amount of taxes applicable to them - in cash or by credit card.' The guarantee is returned if you take the item out on time, and kept if you don't. Declare in the red channel. Flying rules inside Israel are not covered here.
