Can you bring meat or dairy products to Philippines?

Short answer
Depends on specifics

  • Meat & dairy

    depends on specifics

Fully cooked/canned meat from disease-free countries needs no clearance. Processed-but-uncooked meat needs no SPS clearance but is capped at 10kg per passenger, with a veterinary health certificate or proof of purchase. Unprocessed meat requires an SPS Import Clearance for any quantity, however small.

Per Bureau of Animal Industry Memorandum Circular 48, Series of 2021 — the cooked/canned-vs-uncooked-vs-unprocessed distinction is the whole rule; a canned corned beef and a raw steak are treated completely differently at the border.

Also covers: meat, dairy, cheese, milk, canned meat
