Can you bring HGH to Australia?
Short answer
Allowed, within limits
The official rule for Australia below names HGH. The same rule also covers the other medicines it lists, so read the conditions carefully.
Growth hormone
allowed, within limitsGrowth hormone (somatropin, somatrem), HCG, EPO and related hormones are restricted imports in Australia. You can bring them without a permit only if they were prescribed to you. Carry them in your accompanied baggage, with a letter from your doctor or a copy of your prescription in English. Keep them in the original packaging, bring no more than 3 months' supply, and declare them.
You need a permit from the Office of Drug Control if you don't have a prescription, if you're bringing more than 3 months' supply, or if you're an athlete. The athlete rule also covers support staff, such as a coach, doctor or manager, coming to Australia for an athlete's work, and applies even with a prescription. Without a permit, the Border Force can seize the goods, and you can face an on-the-spot fine or prosecution.
Also covers: growth hormone, human growth hormone, hgh, somatropin, somatrem, somatomedins, hcg, human chorionic gonadotrophin, human chorionic gonadotropin, epo, erythropoietin
