Can you bring Adderall to Georgia?
Short answer
Depends on specifics
The official rule for Georgia below names Adderall. The same rule also covers the other medicines it lists, so read the conditions carefully.
Controlled medication
depends on specifics"A person can bring into the territory of Georgia 31 days’ supply of narcotic drugs and psychotropic substances for personal use (except of “narcotic drugs strictly restricted for free circulation” included in the list 1 of annex 1 of law of Georgia on “Narcotic drugs, psychotropic substances, Precursors and Narcological Assistance”)." You must present, together with your customs declaration: a photocopy of the prescription translated into English and certified by an apostille (name, surname, gender and age, diagnosis, brand and generic names, dosage form, quantity, method of use and duration of treatment); the prescribing physician’s certificate, translated into English and certified per the law of the departure country; and a document signed and sealed by an authorised person and apostilled (authority name, address, contact person, phone, country of destination).
Customs checks the documents against what you carry, signs and seals them and returns them to you; keep them for your whole stay (handing them in on departure is not mandatory). Anything on List 1 of Annex 1 cannot be brought in even with a prescription. Which specific brand-name drugs (e.g. amphetamine-based stimulants) sit on List 1 versus the permitted lists was not confirmed in this pass — the Ministry of Foreign Affairs publishes the schedules separately, so check your exact medicine against them before travel. The Revenue Service’s brochure also lists narcotic drugs, psychotropic substances and "medications subject to the special control" among goods needing permits/certificates.
