Can you bring tobacco or cigarettes to Morocco?

Short answer
Allowed, within limits

  • Tobacco

    allowed, within limits

200 cigarettes, or 100 cigarillos, or 25 cigars, or 250 grammes of an assortment of these products, duty-free, for non-resident travelers arriving in Morocco

Applies to travelers whose habitual residence is abroad (tourists), admitted without declaration or formality. An older (June 2010) Moroccan Customs traveler guide states a flat 200g of manufactured tobacco instead of this cigarette/cigarillo/cigar breakdown; this more detailed and more recently observed figure is used as the published value.

Also covers: tobacco, cigarettes, cigars, cigarillos
