Can you bring insulin to Peru?
Short answer
Allowed, within limits
The official rule for Peru below names insulin. The same rule also covers the other medicines it lists, so read the conditions carefully.
Injectable medication
allowed, within limitsInjectable medicines for personal use (e.g. insulin) and the medical devices you need (e.g. glucose meters) can be brought as personal goods.
Same SUNAT rule as personal medication: 'medicamentos' for personal use need no declaration, and 'medios auxiliares y equipos necesarios para tu control médico... medidores de presión arterial, temperatura o glucosa, entre otros' are allowed in a quantity 'razonable para tu viaje' for travellers who are ill or disabled. SUNAT does not name specific brands (so no GLP-1 brand names are listed here) and does not mention syringes or needles specifically.
Also covers: insulin, insulin pen, injectable medication, glucose meter, diabetes supplies
