Short answerChilean citizens need a visa to visit Georgia. Your visa sets how long you can stay.

How long you can stay
Your visa sets how long you can stay.
What you need
  • Valid passport (valid at least 3 months beyond the requested visa period, with at least 2 blank pages)
  • Georgian e-visa — OR a valid visa/residence permit from a country on Ordinance No. 256's list (see notes) for visa-free entry
  • Passport-style photo taken within the last 6 months (e-visa)
  • Travel/health insurance
  • Proof of accommodation for the whole stay
  • Proof of sufficient funds
Good to know
Chile does not appear on Georgia's visa-free list (Ordinance No. 255 and the Georgian National Tourism Administration's list agree), so Chilean citizens need a visa. Two routes: (1) the e-visa at evisa.gov.ge for short stays — "20 USD + 2% service fee", and "not less than 5 working days" to decide; the validity/stay varies by passport country (the portal cites 120/30 and 180/90 formats), so confirm Chile's figures in the application; or (2) visa-free entry for 90 calendar days in any 180-day period if you hold a valid visa or residence permit from a country on Ordinance No. 256's list (which includes the US, UK, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Japan, South Korea, Israel, Ireland, the GCC states and most EU/EEA states) — it must be valid on the day you cross the border.
