The Kenya Electronic Travel Authorisation (eTA) is an online travel authorisation for visiting Kenya, issued by the Republic of Kenya, Directorate of Immigration Services. Apply only on the official website below.

- From US$30 with normal processing (up to 72 hours). Expedited, immediate processing costs an extra US$100.
- Processing time
- Generally within 3 business days (72 hours), longer if verification takes time. Expedited applications are processed immediately.
- When to apply
- Apply at least 2 weeks before you travel.
Use the official website. Apply only on the official website or the official "Kenya Travel Authorisation" app, with one application for each traveller.
If you need an eTA, the application also asks you to buy Kenya's compulsory government travel health insurance.
