Can you bring Delsym to South Korea?
Short answer
Depends on specifics
The official rule for South Korea below names Delsym. The same rule also covers the other medicines it lists, so read the conditions carefully.
Dextromethorphan
depends on specificsKorea Customs lists dextromethorphan as a psychotropic ingredient under the Narcotics Control Act: bringing it in without approval is punishable by up to 10 years' imprisonment or a fine of up to KRW 100 million. The exception is carrying medicine for your own treatment with prior approval from the Minister of Food and Drug Safety (apply through nedrug.mfds.go.kr; see Korea's controlled-medication entry).
Korea Customs names NyQuil, DayQuil, Robitussin, Mucinex and Delsym among dextromethorphan medicines it has found at the border. Not every version of these brands contains dextromethorphan: check the active ingredients on your pack.
Also covers: dextromethorphan, dxm, cough medicine, nyquil, dayquil, robitussin, mucinex, delsym
